Look: Puffy Vest

apparently my tripod skills aren't so good--sorry for the crooked pics ;)
flannel--Old Navy | vest--Gap | jeans--Kohl's | boots--Belk | socks--Kohl's | earrings--Kohl's

Someone tweeted a couple of days ago that all puffy vests should be burned.  Well, I have to disagree.  I am quite a fan of vests (as seen here), and I think that puffy vests--when done right--can be very cute. They also keep you very warm without the arm-movement-restrictions that coats cause--similar rationale to the snuggie, I know :)

P.S.  I did a guest post for Megan over at Long Live Classy.  It's a NYE post full of sparkle so check it out please :)

  1. I retired my puffy vest and then took it back out this year. Unfortunately it's too cold here now to just go outside with a vest :( Love how you layered yours with the plaid!

  7. No, no burning of the puffy vests! Granted, I always wear mine in un-cute way and more for warmth, but I so love puffy vests. I really enjoy how you've managed to style yours in such and adorable and still outdoorsy way, puffy vests and plaid are meant to go together!

  9. the puffy vest is the epitome of patagonia (place, not brand, though brand works too) chic! and unrestricted arm movement is nothing to snuff at! very cute.
